I think BM comes out of Pool A and will play Mourning who comes out of Pool D. Pool B will be the most interesting. Lyman and Olympia will be a very interesting match and obviously Gibbons will come out of Pool C. No competition in Pool C for them. Pool B is by far the most competitive pool with Pool C being the easiest.

They have a very good libero and 2 young but good Sophomore setters. Olympia has 2 senior middles and a junior outside.

I see Olympia edging Lyman, Gibbons out of C, Mourning out of D, and BM winning it all

On the topics of preseason favorites for all-state, definitely just about every player from Ocean Bay's top 18s team should be in consideration. Many D1 talents who definitely deserve all-state recognition as seniors.

Isn't Dom going to be hitting for BM again though? He's not going to make all state setter if he is hitting

Rumor has it Dom is setting and hitting. He lead the team last year as an outside, but with loss of setter Nick O' Grady BM finds themselves without a true setter.

BM going to be that strong again? They lost Nick, who else did they lose and who is coming back besides Dom?

BM also returns opposite Carson Kahle as most likely as an outside this year. No other returning starters.

He could take Olympia far this year.

Solid prediction for all state but I definitely think Michael Morieres should be on there somewhere. Lead the state in kills last year and finished as a semi finalist? Archbishop will definitely be in the hunt again this year with Morieres at the helm.
