lets stop trashing adn get back on topic are these guys contenders yes, they are solid and im sure will just build as the season goes, havent looked at the state bracket to see who they would match up against but can possibly be a final 4 team maybe finals. |

Whats the deal with AMHS, I hear all these rumors that they played club together and stacked there team this year, that some never went to that school before..Great team don't get me wrong..if so sucks for the seniors that have been there all four years to get thingyed like that and for teams that actually work hard to get to states for four years..they should make a rule about playing club with highschool teammates and put a limit |

So, you mean there should be a rule prohibiting players from Columbus, Southwest, Palmetto, Varela, Bishop Moore, Lyman, Winter Park, Lake Mary, Oviedo, Berkeley Prep, Spanish River, Wellington, Seminole Ridge, Gibbons, Archbishop, Douglas, South Broward, etc. (I'm sure I'm missing someone) from playing club on teams from the same club when there are only a half dozen boys clubs in the state? Are you smoking something? Take a look at the rankings and see if you notice a trend between the number of club players and the top 20 teams in the rankings. There's a reason. Those teams have a lot of players who take the sport seriously and play club, HP, and beach, not just high school. So, you still want to make a rule that says they can't play club?

I agree....you can't stop players from the same HS from playing club together....that is stupid.....That does not have anything to do with the "AMHS controversy".....The issue.... how I hear it.... has something to do with recruiting a couple of seniors from different HS to play for AMHS with the purpose of winning a State Title....THIS IS ONLY SPECULATION.....I guarantee that someone has already looked into this and AMHS is clean..Let's stop talking about this issue....It should also be noted that these 2 kids DID NOT play on the same Club team.... |

First of all, Archbishop has made it to states the last two years with the players they had. Corey and Eric and Nick led that team last year with the kids they had. Every year they go, they lose to the State Champs. So yeah you cant say they didnt work hard before. its not there fault these kids wanted to go to a school that has a great team but also a great school. Archbishop has worked hard every year to make it and also gave the teams a run for there money with the players they had.

are you implying that amhs deserves to win states just because seniors just happened to like the school and come over thats complete bs and you know it they wanted to win a state championship its obvious im not giving them the title right now i think columbus and river will give them a run for their money but honestly if they do win they dont deserve it

Im sorry but i play for AMHS and i read this and laughed. ill even say my name. Im Corey Marks. I have been on the team since i was a freshman. Me and the guys on the team have been working hard for the last couple of years. I have worked hard to be where i am and im proud of what we have accomplished. Eric, me, anthony and all the other boys have worked hard. we go in a workout in the morning and do two a days and bust our A**es off every single day of practice. when saturdays come around we are in the gym practicing. we bust our butt every single day and we do work hard with what we are doing. yes we do have one goal and thats to win. we take every game as our championship game. we play hard no matter who we play. we do deserve it if we win every single one of us. Tj has worked his ass off also. hes going to a D1 program next year to play. he is a great player in my eyes. so you cant say we dont deserve it. we work hard every day and you can ask any of us.

well im sure the miami teams and orlando and many other teams work hard and work their butts off they dont need to recruit they home grow their kids to become great vball players dont sit here and say you guys deserve it with two transfers of tj the best outside in the state and kyle who can hold his own at middle everyone works hard everyone practices you guys arent special

Why do you guys care? We have not won anything yet. Why do you think we are going to win? Thats why the game is played. Like i said we play every game like its the championship game. But like i said, we do bust our ass. How about you give us credit for the people that actually have been there that also play. This is a team sport. Our right sides, liberos, setters, and outside. We have not won anything so stop the crap and come out and play. Thats why we play this sport  |
