This is exactly what people thought last year and south Broward came from no where and destroyed Dr. Phillips.
I don't know which players they have. But they came from no where and made a drastic change in this entire tournament last year.

Lake Mary is a two seed? In SRs pool. PV is a 1 seed?
So glad I decided not to take my team to this tourney. I have in the past but never again. That is bush-league.
I hope all coaches in CFL this. Pay ton of money to travel and that is what you get. LM should have gone to Ransom. Too bad it looks like good competition.

Ira has done this for years. He feels that PV should have the easy pool since they are hosting. A lot of Coaches do this..right Gibbons!!! However, it is not as bad as this year. SR and LM in same pool. PV with their crappy record "ranked" above LM. The only way to straighten IRA out is to boycot this tournament in the future. |

I am really shocked by the comments on here. Just play the game and shut your mouths. I really do hope that some unknown team wins the tournament just to make you quiet. Thank you Park Vista for providing an opportunity for HS teams to play.

You have SR and LM in one pool and Sunset and South Broward in another, and the next strongest team in my opinion is South West, who would porbaby lose to any of those four teams. It really sucks for teams like LM who have to travel down south and get stuck in a pool like that |

The pools kind of sucks but this is one of the best tournament in the states. I bet whoever makes out of the pool B in gold division would win this tournament.
either South Broward or Sunset
Most probably the undefeated Sunset.

Congrats to Coach Ira, good looking tournament field once again. It puts one of the biggest and best tourneys of the year every year. Kudos for the hard work.
Tournament seeding once again does not prevent the the best team from winning it all. Only double elimination tourneys gurantee 1 vs 2 in the finals. Only problem with double elims are they take too long to play and the losing teams don't get enough play time.

Did someone hijack your account????your right it Is hard to pit on a good tournament. Ira always gets good competition but this years seeding Is just obscene. Look at the BM spring sting tourney. Eventually if you do not treat your customers fairly they will leave you.

No just want to send Kudos Coach Ira's way for all the things he does right. Takes a lot of work to organize a tournament like this so just want to make sure we can look at the 95% of the GOOD that he does and spend more time on that.
The questionable seeding? Well same story every year. Why shouldn't you win your own tournament? Park Vista to win still has to beat the best OTHER team in the tourney right?
So just to be redundant, congrates Coach Ira for 95% that no one questions is anything less than total good.
How about that for a hijacking!!!

I want to see Southwest and Sunset in the finals. I think it would be a great game just because these 2 teams have not liked each other over the years and they would play with everything they've got against each other. haha good one but i believe in a ''rivalry'' the other team is suppose too win and that really hasnt happened for sunset |

Ideally the finals should be the best 2 teams NOT making them play in pool play. Also, gold bracket SHOULD BE the best 4 teams, NOT 3 teams and the host team (no matter how bad they are). Why doesn't PV let everybody play and then there is 1 team left they play them for the championship. Lol |

No offense taken... you did not call my mom or dog a bad name so I am good.....
Well in the perfect world those are all good ideas. But when you host a tourney it is quite common to try and manipulate the pools a bit to get your team as far as they can go. Happens every where.
Even at the state tournament pairings are based on a rotating geographic system never on the quality of the teams.
