To start off, I am a player from Lake Mary.
First, I would like to apologize on behalf of the Lake Mary TEAM about the people who have been posting "representing" Lake Mary. Second, I have talked to every player on the team and they insist it is not them. No Lake Mary players post on this website so please do not consider the views stated here the views of the Lake Mary team.
Good games to everyone and we wish you the best of luck in all that you do.
Once again, sorry, -Lake Mary Rams

I have to say that I was not impressed with the Lake Mary fans at all. I was there for the Apopka Lake Mary game and it was an offensive place to play. It gave me a bad taste in my mouth about that school. Bishop Moore had better fans than that!

I have a brother on the team. I thought they sucked at the beginning of the year but after watching them improve I believe they will challenge next year for state.

o, true. and if they want to...tell them all to work on passing a common sense. cause no one but caleb and andrew have it. i've seen them lose so many points off of silly middle school errors

That is true that the mistakes are silly elementary errors and that is because almost everyone started playing volleyball last season. That is not to bad for guys that NEVER played before and are giving everyone a run for their money. I think that beating Bishop Moore proves they contend with, for the most part, beginners.

If I recall it was not setting that was the issue in that match. It was getting blocked by better athletes. You can only play with the guys on the court; that is part of the game. Every team can do that "what if" stuff about guys being injured or sick. All that stuff is part of the game.

I would love to know when Lake Mary beat BM this year, oh ya thats right they didnt. And the team (WS) that worked them 2 times we killed
You are right about one thing you have to play with who ever is on the court. But I promise you that we were not beat by better athletes. We lost it for ourselves. But dont worry next year BM will be back like every year ALL of our kids play club and we have Christian and Ryan coming in to BM in August.
Peace Out Punks

Is this a joke? Beginners? Wow, I didn't know a 21-5 record entering districts with losses to only CG, Brother Rice, Olympia and Lyman was so awful. The fact that we lost to APK does not mean that we've never played volleyball before. When they get rolling Apopka can contend with anyone, with caleb, andrew, and 22 who jumps out of the d**n gym. Their setting is consistent, their hitting is good, and 22 is simply unblockable. However, to say that setting was not the issue of the match must mean you're retarded. We had 1 setter, one whom all of us had become familiar with and dependent upon. I set in the district final on 45 minutes of practice prior to the game... That was my only setting experience... Ever. But yeah, that had no impact. How bout we call up the Pistons tonight and ask if they'll put Jason Maxiell at the point and Lindsay Hunter on Dwight Howard. I'm sure they'll be fine with that, too.

I was not saying BM are beginners, I am saying most guys at APK like 22, 1, and a few others have only picked up a volleyball last year. You are also for getting #23 on APK. When he gets going he is every bit as good at Andrew.
I did not see many setting mistakes, but what I did see were blocks. That is all I know. I can't wait to see you guys both play next year. Actually, I can't wait to see how APK can contend with the big 4 OLY, Lym, LM and BM. APK had the hardest schedule this year and they look to do the same thing next year.
