idk whose the one trying to defend us or whatever but olympia definitely was the better team last year. they just completely outplayed us and wanted it more then us yeah we had setter issues. so what? theres noe xcuse if we were better we wouldve still won. this year idk how ppl say were just gonna take it without giving any consideration olympia has an amzing setter and ian is amazing and their jv has some good players that will fill in so its gonna be close so no more excuses for us. they were better then us last year and deserved every bit of respect that they got. i really look forward to playing them again. hopefully it will be different this time but you never know lol

Marsh is going to dominate LM next year...their right side is Berryhill...no offense to him he would be a good setter on JV (his actual positon not outside) but he is only like 6' and he doesnt have a 50' vert...so im picking WS although LM is getting 2 middles...one 6'4-ish...and the other 6'7...never played before though

Agreeing with ben and ian, and the fact that olympia did make improvements throughout the year. They only had gotten better, and their game play had never gotten worse, but again TC is also a good team with a bunch of great players and would have done way way way better with one decent setter throughout the season.
and i don't know why some people are saying LM is going to well at all this year, for all i know James is one of the prominent players on the team, he has a cannon but isn't too consistent with it, and can also put a decent block, but he's not enough to beat WS. Marshall without a doubt, will have LM locked down. but who know's anything can happen during the season. but it's just my opinion, and i suck.

Write em down. Here are your 2009 district champs... Apopka Olympia Lake Mary or Seminole or Oviedo or Crooms or LM Prep or Bolles Lyman Lightning strikes again and Apopka takes the district. TC still can't block Ian and TC will melt down at the district championships again. Remember Olympia 2008, Boone 2007, Boone 2006, Sorry Marsh, WS = Marsh (awesome) and the seven dwarfs. Remember Lake Mary 2008-2007-2006, Oviedo 2005, Lyman 2004, Lake Mary 2003 University will do fine but Lyman is still solid in that district.

tc will do even better this year then last year! everything will be set from the start and ian has no1 around him. their serve recieve wont be very good and you can just focus on ian and not worry about anyone else. jordan and edy and the others will be able to dig every olympia guy with just a single block up so they just go to ian. and when ian is back row the D ball wont be that effective. olympia wont be able to block TC. and wintersprings will win districts. marshal will have another great season and oviedo has no one. seminole has no one. only team that might take a game is lake mary but like every1 said their best guy is the wierd red head and he gets blocked 95 percent of the time

If you think BM wont win districts than your crazy. Taking nothing away from apopka there a great team and if they were in any other district this year than yeah district champs but sorry it appears that this year BM is back to true form and gets the job down in districts and in regionals

back to true form? lets keep in mind BM was ranked 3rd in the state for most of the year last season and barring their quaids injury they likely would have gone to the final four so they really never have a down year

Im not syaing BM was having a bad year i agree the injury put a damper on their season and ended it long before it should have been over but im saying if everyone stays healthy this team should be better than last years they definitly have the potential

bm = overated!!! all you hear is talk talk talk or oh so and so got hurt or we would have gone all the way. I call bs on that. your either good or your not. Does one player make the team? NO! give it a rest bm. win something on the court vs a real conference and not just your acc like catholic school competitors and then you can talk...
Until then quit whining and play the game...

You are truly and idiot... There is no Catholic school conference. As far as win something, I would venture to say that BM has one of the most consistent programs in central Florida. BM has a good team every year. Last year did not go the way we planned obviously but I would say that BM finishes top 5 in central Florida every year. Our kids play club and put in the extra work needed to be successful. I do not know who you are, but I am sure that your high school does not have the same tradition. I love it when people like you come on here and say stuff about BM. It just proves that you are JEALOUS.. Hey if you cant beat us join us!!!!!

ignorant yes you are ( if you can't figure it out we all understand ) You are missing the points...
#1 - I NEVER said you played in a catholic school DISTRICT...
#2 - my post was relative to bm stop whining about "if so and so had not been hurt we would have gone to state and possibly won it all"
NO ONE knows who will win a match until it is played - can we agree on that? ( can't wait to hear your response )
NO ONE player makes a team - can we agree on that?
I recognize that all of the current post are about "who WILL win it this year" unfortunealy most of the bm post here are going back and rehashing last years losses...
Also just because your kids play club doesn't make them head and shoulders above everyone else it simply means that your parents are willing to fork over 3k to 4k a year so their spoiled kids can go play for bm coaches during the off season...
Can't wait to hear your anger filled response to that one...

whats your deal man why the hate? Its gotten to a point where you just seem jealous and a little sore. Maybe BM ended your season earlier or handed you a beat down who knows but stop hating and give it a rest their a solid program year in and year out and yeah you never know what will happen in a game until its played thats the one good point you have but calling the kids "spoiled" and attacking them in that way is dumb man how bout we just play and hope that everyone on everyteam can stay healthy this year so we can see each team at their best and so that we can have a great season and so that when the dust settles we can see who the real champ is.
