"however, in the dade summer league palmetto did take out sunset in two (who is my sleeper team for top ten in the state next year) and then beat southwest in two and looked pretty good keeping them under 20 both sets! from what i hear, southwest did have all of their better players there. sounds like palmetto was missing a kid or two, so it was a good match up. but it is very early and southwest always improves 100 fold so it should be an exciting race between those two teams this year."
in the summer league sunset had two WEAK j.v. players playing because everyone needed to play. rotation was a joke and so was our level of play. from dade i see the top teams coming out as palmetto southwest sunset and columbus(being that their district is ridiculously easy and road to states they face h.m.l. which is a scrappy team with next year's player of the year "dache") district will be sunset vs. southwest winner plays palmetto. from there im not very familiar with northern schools but these are the top teams from dade.
and in the league we we're missing our better shorter middle and as mentioned 2 j.v. players cause "they needed a turn". not saying we would of rocked the league but that that wasn't our full team. respect to all dade schools next year. sorry killian i don't see you as a threat for next year. being that only one varsity player stays.

i agree with top 4 but not the on the brink thing. a team on the brink in central fl is apopka. they are right behind bm and timbercreek if not equal with them. olympia will not be anything special why is everyone shooting down olympia? i wanna kill them next year and get revenge but come on, they have ian, arguably the best player in the state. they have a good setter. they have players who yes, will need to step their game up but if you watched their jv play last year you know they have some good defensive players and hitters who can be molded into decent players. give them at least a little respect. no matter how much i wanna beat them they deserve some respect.

Without a doubt Angel is the best player in the state. I don't know him but have watched him play and he is a talented volleyball player. He is an all around player as well. Ian is a great player at right side but not an all around player IMO.

from what i have seen only 4 teams stand out to me. and i know which players they are losing and which players played club timber creek bishop moore spanish river douglas teams on brink: palmetto, gibbons, lyman, olympia, southwest looks good I also agree with top 4, however douglas needs a setter since he was the only senior last year--what I hear this position is not set. Without a good setter (to me one of the most important positions) Douglas could drop out of the top 4. If so, they would be replaced by southwest or palmetto

Timber Creek will get as far as they did last year - nowhere. It will be BM at States and between Olympia and Lyman from the other Regional.

Are you smoking crack!!!! The top 4 teams from each district play off to go to regionals. Bishop moore, apopka, edgwater, evans, ocoee, west orange, & wekiva are all in the same district. mr. seminole do you really think that apopka will not make it to the district play off??? Apopka has 10 seniors returning. Timber creek has all the players to go as far as any of the top teams (if they fix their setting issue)... How does seminole look this season???

BM will beat APK in districts. they will. sry, thats just how its gonna work. sem county has WS and Lyman....and if u count berryhill's overimaginative ego, lake mary (bs). lyman should come out of their district, and WS will win theirs. TC-Olympia is a toss-up. TC is solid everywhere, Olympia is stacked at Opp. and setter. if the rest focus on making solid plays they can win. if not, TC. in regionals i like WS and TC, but i think lyman will have a fighting chance. it will still be an upset if lyman does win.

Only 2 of your players knew what they were doing. The rest were athletic but had no idea how to play volleyball. Your coach... out of courtesy we won't go there. 4 teams go to district, 1 goes to regional. And that will be BM. I guess you will get to districts, I didn't know your district was that weak. TC will not gel as a team. They argue and bust on each other and let games get away from them. And unless someone moves there is no one coming up that will improve their setting. Seminole won't go anywhere until they get serious about volleyball. It's going to be a surprising season. Only BM seems to be a lock right now, if they all stay healthy. Winter Springs will be a wild card cause Marshall is a major player. The rest? Who wants it more? Which coach can put together an offense and defense that his players can execute? Interesting times.

hahah SEMINOLE?! sure are talkin alot.. doubt you could even take lm next year! probably will still be at the bottom of the district like always Agreed, I said Seminole won't be a factor. But I stand by my predictions. The season is a long way off and most of the teams are going to have to deal with losing good players so it will come down to who can adapt. And that usually means the coaches will have to put together the players that can execute his offensive and defensive schemes. And Seminole is the county, not the school.

seminole is retarded. you said ws will win regionals? they would beat the other districts champs or runner up. ws has marshal but lost their setter!! apopka had more then 2 players to know what they are doing, andrew caleb jesse neal and brandon all know volleyball well. Tc's whole team is very very good friends so idk how you say they dont gel. and they have setting options. they can move jordan to set, and with their coach back ( rubenstien) he will coach them to the team they should be. and olympia yes they have ian but their 2nd best hitter is the jv outside that was the 16 2s outside and he sucked. and then lyman still strong team but i have a feeling university will take them. kevin will do it again and make his team good again. and with both the outsides back those 3 are the team. so i say district champs are university, tc, bm(another match to 5 against apopka) and ws. region will be bm and tc
