Florida Grass Court Series will hold a tourney Dec 6 in Orlando site TBA (hopefully Lyman if not there Winter Park).
I am not sure what my status is for indoor tourneys for this year. My current plans are only to hold fund raisers for schools looking for tourneys and host grass tourneys throughout the winter & spring.
Grass 4s allows more players to play. runs the same offense as indoor but allows more touches on the ball because less people.
Grass surface & 4s means more emphasis is placed on volleyball skills and less on conditioning and endurance.
Outdoors means fresh air and sun tans. Something every volleyball player needs

South Florida Grass Tourneys.
Those are tough for me. I eventually want to be able to hold 1 maybe 2 (spring & fall) grass tourney in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.
I just need to find the right time of year (for my schedule & the players) to do it.
But I have not given up on it yet. Being able to host in Orlando is very easy for me so that is why.so many are here.

yep... no one should miss this arnie camp. I hear it will put away any club you play for or high school. the coaching is fantastic, you cant get that any where here in Florida.

yep... no one should miss this arnie camp. I hear it will put away any club you play for or high school. the coaching is fantastic, you cant get that any where here in Florida. Do the Arnie Camp if that is what you want, they are at 15 campers as of 10-16-08, and they need five more to hold the camp. They are only alowing a total of 25 player, that should leave plenty of player for both. It looks like the tournment will have a strong showing based on the information above. And it sounds like the coach is trying to make it work for everyone. If you are worried about the "high school gym" location, send more money to the club holding the event and they will upgrade to meet your expectations. enuf sed, Blu
