So the Gold 17s lost 2 players and got the Ricans. The sons 17s have a 6'9" middle (who stayed down with his age group) and a few new additions. will be great!!!!!!!! for future reference, we know that there is a goofy 6'9 middle in south florida, u guys bring him up in every topic. he is 6'9, thats great, fantastic. he is weak and he is average at best. all your pride is based on his height. seriously, he is average, just average. Are you kidding!!!! I play in a different club but I have seen this kid play many times. He is really, really good. You guys could talk all you want from gold, but the truth will be seen on the court. He deserves the respect. Gold, u should wait until you play this guy before you start your trash talking and talking out of your a$$....read the "best jounior" thread..I dont play with him but he has my respect |

honestly i have played with big red and the kid has talent dont talk about him till you can play against him.....he was "goofy" because he was HUGE at such a young age but he is growing into a beast......danny walsh who i also played with was considered "goofy" when he was younger and look what he turned out to be a beast his Junior and Senior year.....so just wait.....good luck big red

Congrats to the Florida Sons 18s. They kicked a$$ in California and took home the bronze out of 70 plus teams. I heard they beat a great team from Mexico in the finals. Congrats for putting Florida on the nations volleyball map ;D

sons played OBV last week. 18s- OBV took sons 3-1. 17s - Sons took OBV 3-1. cant wait to see gold this weekend.

wait a second. i thought sons 18s were gonna be sick! how did they lose to obv? and its taken this long into the season for sons and gold to play?

The situation with Sons 18s and OBV 18s is very interesting. The Sons had 2 17's teams last year. All the players but Travis from one team changed clubs to OBV. The Sons 18s were sick in California. After we played we caught a lot of their games. It was awesome. In fact, a lot of players from other clubs in the west kept asking us questions about Florida in general. While this was our first big tournament this was their 5th or 6th. Florida was represented well, but we are so far behind in so many respects. I think Gold, Sons and OBV will first meet this weekend in Orlando at BBQ tournament. Any other clubs going do you know about? Longwood? Tampa?
