Wll let me qualify my post here. Mike Ladewski is a friend of mine and is very passionate about volleyball, coaching, kids, and winning.
He has his draw backs such as a bad hair cut, impulsiveness, and he does not know anything about Fantasy Football or computer programming for that matter.
That being said, I have personally spoken with several of the parents of Boone HS, since I used to play with them in the day. They think Mike is an improvement over whom has coached there in the past. Mike is probably more of a disciplinarian than coaches in the past. And they are winning, are they exceeding expectations? meeting expectations? or are they below expectations? Me thinks meeting expectations is appropriate here for a team .500++ .
Also, and I am old school here. It is not necessary to "LIKE" a coach only respect him. Do you think players on Alabama LIKED Bear Bryant? PSU Joe Paterno? the list goes on. Coaching is not about BEING LIKED. It is about motivating players to play. Sometimes that comes in many forms of emotion. Like, dislike, hate, etc. A good coach knows how to motivate his player. In the end a COACH does not play does not practice. The players do.
This is his 1st year at Boone. Wait till the stud outside finishes her senior year and played in the Ladewski system before passing judgement on his coaching ability. Lets not rip people here trying to earn a living.. Please
