Nobody is talking too much crap. Besides, that's what this forum lacks now. When I graduated about 5 years back, this forum was awesome. It was a little crap talk but thats what makes it fun. Eventually a line would need to be drawn but for the most part it was cool hearing everyones opinions on teams/players. Now high school volleyball has plummeted even though their are more club teams and such. There are some good teams though and some great players. Does anyone know if Stash from Lyman is going to play anywhere? Obviously him and Kyle are the best two players in the state. Both deserve to play more than club. All the talk is from the people that played high school a couple years ago. Still just as childish as before.

Who is going to UCF, UF, FSU, Miami, FGC and FIU for next year? ?? I know all the colleges club teams would like to know. Please put down your high school. It also would be cool if you also put down your club. I play for one of the college clubs in Florida. I am curious who is going to what school, positions, where they are from (high school and club), etc. I know a lot of players (and captains) from FIU, UF, UCF, Miami, FSU, FGCU, Etc. are very interested too. Here is your chance to put your name out there.

Not sure what other players you’re referring to who have signed with other teams? Danny M. (MB for Invaders) signed with Cal Baptist and Kyle D (Setter for Invaders) signed with Stanford to play Libero, Evan L. (Libero - Invaders) signed with McKendree, Bret R (RS Invaders) is going to Mount Olive Do you of others who have signed?
I know Will was talking to a few teams but in the end decided his best decision was to stay in state, focus on his education, and not play NCAA nor NAIA. Stash had inquiries but never really pursued playing knowing that there are very few schools (PSU, OSU, UCLA, USC, etc.) that had the engineering education he was interested in. He wasn't going to get an offer from the top v-ball schools that had engineering, so he pursued his education. They decided this was better opposed to play and major in a subject they were not interested in. Perhaps wasting 4 years of education on something they didn't want to start a career in.
If these players wanted to play in school, they could have gone to a nice DII or DIII school and probably performed very well. But in the end they decided their education was their priority.
Men's Volleyball has some options for the top 1/2% of the players across the country (like Kyle) - But its very unfortunate that boys/men's volleyball has so few options for the other top 3 - 5% players regarding educational choices. Plus most of the players at the DI schools only receive partial athletic scholarships and that can be very expensive to go out of state.

What's the UF team looking like next year? Any good players graduating? and who would be their remaining best players? I think UF and UCF had a very good outside graduate this year.
