Sw is going to be a very good team don't count them out. Thy have the best middle in the state they have two good outsides they will be decent don't count them out. River will be good and so will ridge. If wellington gets all the players back then they can be a top contender.

Dont run your mouth about Coral Park. even though they mess around on here that they bring in all these so called players and are the best and blah blah blah, doesnt mean they suck. last year we lost three starters and everyone else is coming back. the whole team is experienced. almost every year we come out strong and have a good team, sometimes columbus may have a better team but we always compete against them. we dont practice as much as much as other schools because all of our players are multi sport athletes. we start practicing when were suppose too and we manage to beat teams that have been playing club the whole year and players that play all year. i got to admit columbus looks real good this year, just like last year but we have a good team also we will compete with them and they know very well that it wont be easy for them to win districts. so dont count Coral Park out till the end of season. other then that GOODLUCK to everyone thats hating on us cus chances are we will beat you guys and come out strong in season.

Exactly which teams have you beaten in the past that have been playing club all year.... BM? River? SW? Wellington? Ridge? Douglas? Those are the only teams I know that have club players playing year round.

dennis doesnt have andre to make him look good anymore. he is a very good middle dont get me wrong, but he isnt the best middle in the state. i would say in dade county alone kevin from cp and danny from palmetto are both on the same level as him if not better.
i am very surprised to hear all this dp talk. they lost their best player last year who got 90% of the sets and was the whole team. at states they were the worst team there last year, loosing to cooper city lmao, that was embarrassing!
too much cp hate on this website. i may not be a big fan of cp, thought they had a weak @$$ schedule last year and talked way too much. but they are going to put out another good team and compete at least at a top 10 level. granted, there is a big drop of from the top of the list to the bottom of the top 10 list but they are still going to be better than most teams in the state.
i think the top ten can be broken up into tiers
tier 1 mccarthy
tier 2 sw columbus
tier 3 no particular order bm berkley wellington ridge river cp palmetto

All this love for BM? Lost 3 middles, right side, maybe best setter in the state. Have good player in CF (but has issues) and good libero but from there where do you go? the other Marin? talk about a head case. the ds? Is he still playing? setter? the new kids good but no quaid. RS? ? a real good coach? yes.
Now for berkely. good team because they have played together for 3 years but top 10 in the state? Don't think so. They play competitively but haven't been winning the 17's brackets they have been playing in. When they play 18's yes they beat a few teams that they should ( lower tier ) but aren't keeping up with OBV, OG or a few others.
DP? Real good middle and not bad setter but past that?
My take. good luck to all. yes Im from central florida so that's why i commented on them. I do hope they represent at states.
good luck to all this year.

Just to add on...bm's setter isn't quaid but Jordan is pretty solid however he doesn't have many hitters. Also dp has has Johnson from og 18's as well as the good middle from the 17's. They also return their other outside who has pretty consistent defense.

River isnt that good. Last time i checked Boca beat River in 5, and then Douglas beat them in 4.....

River will be a solid team. They have no competition in their distric anymore. They have an all around solid team. They will make it to states so don't count them out. Why does everyone doubt them???

But thats not the point, this year river has a solid team compared to everyone else. They probably won't win it all but dont be surprised to see them in the final four.

you all must not know much about middles because there position is middle BLOCKERS dennis can hit effectively and his block is also great. gilliam is great in warmups when he can bounce balls but he could not do that on dennis or against a good middle. danny from palmetto is also up there hes a great middle but he hasnt playing idont think so dennis has got em beat and frazee from ridge is also great but his blocking is not the best. dennis is most effective and although hes not the flashiest like the other middles i guarantee he is the best in the state

Your an idiot, if your going to talk know what your talking about. Dennis is on Southwest and is a complete player, top 3 middle in the state. River will make it to states easily, is there district or region tough? Not really. But they will put a decent team together. Inform yourself before you run your mouth.
