This will be a fun game to watch, southwest will pummel them. First big game to kick off the 2012 volleyball highschool season, Columbus' libero is their strongest player. New to the position yet showing off the skittles. Southwest in two though....(yes I mean two)

Gnarly game between these two rocking teams. I'm going to put my guns along side the Southwest Teams'. They have that public school swag. Columbus has more better talent but they'll lose anyway.

Outsides: SW has the upper hand with their all around abilities Middles: SW just because the other Columbus middle is fat and slow Backside: Columbus but SW's outside will block this kid he's only good on an open net Setter: Columbus, probably the All-Dade setter for this year Libero: SW, he's too filthy and Columbus' libero can't serve receive

I think your wrong, the outsides for Columbus are better and I feel that the Columbus setter is only fast, he can't really set the middle or backside and that is a problem the outside can only hit so many times. I feel that will be their downfall. Could be mistaken, but should be a good game to watch

Game is approaching with less than two weeks away, what are some projections and some matchups that will be fun to watch. I believe southwest takes it due to there dedication to the game and the bond they have on the court. The Columbus setter gets in a mode where he is mad at everyone and yells at teammates in frustration. Thoughts?

I believe this will be a great match. Both teams are very strong and well rounded.
Columbus's outside is one of the top 5 players in the state. JP has become a dominant middle and the setter is lightning fast. Columbus's libero has picked up the position extremely well.
Scuba is probably the best libero in the state. His serve is very difficult to handle and his serve receive is impeccable. The southwest outside is very talented. He has a good a lot of experience and has . Southwest also has very strong middles.
Libero: Southwest slight edge over Columbus Middle: Southwest even though Columbus has the strongest middle on the court Right sides: Columbus, solid hitter and decent blocker Outside: Columbus, one of the best outside combos in the county Setting: Columbus, 3 years of experience is hard to go against Coaching: Southwest, Mauricio is the best coach in the state. Greg is also great coach but I get the edge to SW.
I believe it will be a great match. My prediction is Columbus over Southwest in 4 sets. I believe victor will be too much to handle for southwest.
This match really means nothing. They will play again in the district finals and that is the only thing that matters. The team that works the hardest during the season will win the district and go on to the state finals in my opinion. best of luck to both teams I look forward to watching this match.

Mr. "Opinion" you are wrong. Victor is too inconsistent and southwest will be able to handle him and probably shut him down. Their other outside is easy to block. He always hits the ball straight at the blockers so it's always a tool or a block. They're middle, JP, always tips. Southwest's libero will be able to pick him up. Eddie and erix will dominate in their home gym. The only soft part is their setter. He sucks. Columbus's setter is just fast but can't set but still better than the SW setter. It will be a good game and I'm for sure going to be in attendance for probably the best season opener game in the state of florida.

Southwest Is looking strong this year, really powerful team. I see them making a run at states this year hands down. They had great club performences by each of their players, their only downside is that they didn't all play club together. Expect them to win alot this year by alot also. I expect the scores on Tuesday vs. Columbus to be 25-19sw, 25-22sw, 24-26columbus, and 25-15 sw. March 6, southwest comes out on top
