why is river getting so much attention from yahoo and espn

As a fan of river for many years, I feel it is a shame that the dynasty created by Kyle and Gustavo and continued by Jake Ian Dennis and Timmy has been lowered to stories about prom and the 2nd loss at districts in 3 years. Yes players on this years team played club and had talent and knowledge of the game. They had potential. They could have made it to states. Too bad the focus and leadership was not there to win the match. I just wonder in a couple years if these players will remember their senior prom or the night the lost districts.
