District 4 Results CC defeated East River in 4. DP is currently playing Olympia. District 4 CC defeated East River DP defeated Olympia Championship match CC vs DP May 3 at Olympia HS at 7:00. |

Epic night at Lake Howell. After Boone pushes WP to 5, Lyman holds on and beats LH 15-12 in 5th. Great fans for all teams made for very exciting night!
Lake Mary beat Seminole easily 3-0, plays Oviedo on Thurs.

Best district night has to go to District 3 with both games going to 5. Wp beats boone 15-11 in the 5th and Lyman beats Lake Howell 15-12 in the 5th. Looks like it is going to be a good match in the final with Lyman vs WP. Thursday at 7.

Boys volleyball
District semifinals
District 1 at Lake Mary
Oviedo 3, Winter Springs 0
Buzz: Anthony Gonzalez had 8 kills for Oviedo (21-5) in the 25-18, 25-18, 25-21 sweep. Daemon Ashley recorded 8 kills for Winter Springs (13-10).
Lake Mary 3, Seminole 0
Buzz: Cas Kiersnowski recorded 11 kills for Lake Mary (22-3) in the 25-14, 25-14, 25-14. Patrick Mullen also added 11 kills.
District 2 at Apopka
Bishop Moore 3, Apopka 0
Buzz: Jordan Kiniry had 31 assists for Bishop Moore (21-2) in the 25-21, 25-21, 25-13 sweep. Christian Franceschi had 18 kills. Jon Pohlman had 7 kills for Apopka (11-8).
Tampa Berkeley Prep 3, Wekiva 0
Buzz: Berkeley Prep improved to 24-2 in a 25-13, 25-17, 25-22 sweep. Ray Jackson had 5 kills and 3 blocks for Wekiva (9-10).
District 3 at Lake Howell
Winter Park 3, Boone 2
Buzz: James Washington led Winter Park (21-4) with 18 kills and 2 aces in the 28-26, 25-21, 18-25, 21-25, 15-11 win. Jesse Day added 3 aces and 17 digs.
District 4 at Olympia
Cypress Creek 3,
East River 1
Buzz: Kevin Lopez tallied 15 kills and 2 blocks for Cypress Creek (14-10) in the 20-25, 25-19, 25-19, 27-25 win. Kyle Philpot had 45 assists.
Dr.Phillips 3, Olympia 0
Buzz: Justin Soffer had 12 kills for Dr. Phillips (19-7) in the 25-10, 25-16, 25-20 sweep. Brett Caramalis tallied 20 kills for Olympia (13-8).

Any of the CF districts could see an upset. No one would be surprised if BM and Lyman win their districts, and CC could pull it off if they are on it.
Can't wait!
