The state says you may only play 25 matches. Check out these records...
Archbishop McCarthy 18-8 (26 matches) Ransom Everglades 15-13 (28 matches) South Broward 17-10 (27 matches)

That is pretty serious if anyone plays them and appeals they would be forced to forfeit and their season would be over. And Archbishop is supposed to win their district. Sucks for them.

They don't forfeit the season. They are just restricted to less than 25 games next season.

It is true that they don't forfeit the season but the I am positive that if a group of coaches really wanted they could get them punished this season. The idea that they only fewer games the next season would be played is a reference to what FHSAA has done recently to teams like Winter Springs HS. Generally that occurs because no other team has challanged it in time. This is not to say that FHSAA would ban them from district play but it is certainly not out of the realm of possibilities. Coaches know better than that. It would be very irresponsible of a coach to miscount games and play extra games. Each coach has rule books and manuals from FHSAA not to mention there should be an Athletic Director that reminds them of this. Along with that most coaches attend district and conference meetings to help work out their schedule. You know if you are scheduling more than 25.

Okay Sports Fans,
Lets not jump to any conclusions here and lets not rat anyone out either.
My web site is UNOFFICIAL with regards to any governing body. South Broward erroneously had a match posted to their schedule.
I did it because the game was listed in the Miami Herald. Who probably confused them with another school.
