We had a very amazing day in Parkland. The benefit tournament for Nick was a huge success.
We had over 350 volleyball players from Jupiter to Miami - from middle school to high school to club to beach to college to coaches - all playing in the spirit of fun and giving.
There was some sick volleyball going on. There some fun 'walleyball' going on. And there was lots of fun-spirited kidding between rivals and friends alike and laughable moments.
At the end of the day, it was a true reflection of the Florida volleyball community. How rivals from near and far can come together and enjoy the game and the camaraderie and support a fellow player in need was something I have never seen before.
If any of you have any "favorite moments" from the day, please share them. Thanks to everyone who participated.
