what it is, its politics and the players who are a lot better and dont have much of a recognized team dont get noticed. its not fair most of know, but its all based on who knows you mostly or what school name you play for. obviously if you play for a school with pretty good history, like cypress, st thomas, gibbons, arch bishop, it is not as hard to be known as a player.

You are right. One player that I am so surprise that was left off is Charlie Brown from Douglas. He is much better than most of the kids on the 1st and 2nd team. I just don't understand. Do these people who make these lists actually watch HS volleyball

hey talk to your coach about charline brown cuz the sentinel is the paper that uses only coaches votes for first and second team unlike the herald and the post. your coach can tell you what they look for, just raw skill or attitude and skill.

the kid from flanagan was good enough to be on first team if not be player of the year, he just had a really bad team. unfortunately its up to coaches to vote and they are going to vote for players from better teams. im not surprised at all that player of the year was Belt, he was not that bad of a player though. to be completely honest charlie brown is not much of a great player maybe good for 2nd team but i dont think for 1st team
