I know we are in the preseason, but based upon (a) last year, (2) who graduated and (3) the upcoming players, what is your guess for the TOP 10 Schools in Florida for the 2008-2009 season?

swap killain for palmetto and move them up about 3 spots... killian has one returning player and a new coach... palmetto has alot coming back with a good coaching staff...

i believe palmetto will be stronger than apopka, especially since you have douglas ahead of apopka because palmetto will be better than douglas like they were last year. for now, you can keep timber creek, bishop moore, and spanish river ahead of them, but thats just cause they havent earned a top 3 spot yet.

graduated a bunch of seniors... what is that supposed to mean? just cause we graduated a few players doenst mean we arent going to be as good as we were last year. southwest graduated everyone from their 03 team and still were a powerhouse the next year, going to the final four in 04' loosing to northeast in 5.
im not gonna sit here and tell you how great they are and who is returning and who plays what position and what not. but i will tell you what i know. i know that palmetto is better than douglas. douglas is a good team, and on any given day any team can win. but palmetto has alot more fire power and depth than douglas. i saw apopka play at the spring sting last year apparently without their best player, so i dont know how they really look at full strength. but if your telling me apopka isnt as good as douglas than i think palmetto will be better than them too.
not trying to be biased, just trying to tell it like it is. and even though we have been beating sw in the florida christian league, they have a good core of players returning and will still be a strong team. plus they are the defending champs, they have proven time and time again they are the elite program in the state of florida, which is why i have them ahead of us to start the season.
1TC 2BM 3Southwest 4Spanish river 5Palmetto 6Douglas 7you north teams can fight over the rest of the order since you think apopka, lyman, olympia, university, winter springs and lake mary all deserve to be recognized lol
but i think the top 6 teams are the only ones that matter right now

I think Palm and Douglas would be a very good game. Though Palm has some nasty players, Douglas has some also. Big Red, Charlie, Jay and Aaron (all of them I know from club). It would be a good game when they meet. Is Palm better than Douglas? I don't think so. What happened last year was last year.

The TC team in the Sunday league is alright, but nothing special. Average passing, terrible setting, and their hitters should be on a girls team. That big kid they have is tall, but he has NO skills - he can barely get out of his own way. Lyman hung with them with only their three big guys and a bunch of jv kids. I wouldn't rate TC in the top 5, mainly because they always find a way to choke, and their coaching is terrible. They won't make it past Olympia. And Douglas and Spanish River? Please, not even in the top ten this year. It will come down to Bishop Moore and whatever team that will be second, either Southwest, Olympia or Lyman. There's the lineup, let the whining commence.

Here we go again---another Bishop Moore a-hole shooting their mouth off again. Don't you guys get tired of doing this all the time? prove it on the court not with your mouth.
