For those who may not know him or may not know for sure who he is, George has been the Lyman HS & Longwood VBC assistant coach for several years now. He has been an avid supporter of boy's volleyball for at least 10 years now. He is also the father of Gage who played for Lyman HS last year and Ross who plays for the UCF club team now (and the Lyman state champion).

George had a nasty accident this weekend and broke his neck . He is now recuperating and will be in a neck brace for several months.

For those that know him please send him an email or a phone call. That way he won't have to listen to all of my old war stories from volleyball for the next few months.

George came to the Lyman's Varsity game against Lake Brantley last night. He was walking okay and in good spirits - the man has one of the most amazing sense of humor I've ever seen. He is in a real radical neck brace, so if you see him get in front of him before you say his name so he won't try to turn his neck. Get well soon George!
