Because it's about putting yourself out there and going on visits. Maybe he hasn't made any effort to do so yet. College coaches aren't just knocking on doors and blowing up kids' cell phones from FL to play. I'm not saying Ian doesn't deserve a scholarship because he most definitely does. But that is possibly why Angel hasn't signed yet.

I have seen Angel and Ian play several times. Eventhough Ian is a great player, Angel defies gravity. I have never seen a kid hit so hard and his ups are so great. He is really very good. Probably the best. Props to both

YES BIG RED AT 6'9 IS PLAYING MIDDLE FOR THE 17 SONS AND WITH HIM JON AT 6'5 AND JAY AT 6'2 JESSE AT 6'5 THEY SHOULD HAVE A VERY GOOD TEAM, BUT THEY DON'T HAVE A SETTER Jay is 6'2" with high heels psh if i had heels on id be at least 6'3'' but our 17's team should be nasty this year especially if the palmetto kids can commit to play. does anyone know how the gold 17's are gonna be this year?

I hope that the Palmetto Kids know that Club is the best way to go. They will get so much better for HS, go to tournaments and be seen by colleges. I hope they commit to the Sons in all age levels

Ok i coached angel last year, he hasn signed anywhere because hes not to worried about college. He just wants to go play. Long beach talked to him at nationals and had no idea what the guy was talking about lol, he didnt understand. I know they did want to fly him out there and pay his was for a visit. As far as angel of ian, Ive seen ian play also, in my opinion hes just big with a huge reach, but not a big game changer. He wasnt effective against us last year and at nationals didnt to to well. Just because he signed doesnt mean anything, in my opinion you should wait until the last minute so you can examine all your options.

Yea its too bad I have basketball, I cant even go to cali in january, really pissed about that.
As for the best club, its the sons hands down. Every age group had a son team in the final in regionals, 3 out of 4 of those age groups were won by the sons, and then our team (17L) makes it all the way to the national semifinal in club at JO's.
Not so sure as to why there should ever be a discussion as to whats greater, the North, or the South, because last July 8 kids from Broward and Dade had medals while the "mighty" orlando boys were struggling in Flight 1....

all you sons and gold players saying this team is way better and what not are dumb. if I recall correctly about 2 years ago all those "mighty orlando boys" were holding medals at regionals for every division. it sways back and forth between sons and gold, both are excellent teams, both are from florida. competition is great but this is ridiculous...
