Try-outs

[How many]

The season is almost here...

On the average how many people does your team have that come to volleyball try outs? Who makes cuts and how many? Does anyone have 60 or more try out. I am sure some teams have just a couple. Is it an unofficial requirement to play club in order to make the team?

[Club]

I play club and I found it a MAJOR plus. Especially my freshman year. It got me ready for the speed of high school volleyball. Also, during club you learn different methods and styles. For all you juniors and seniors- club offers better exposure to colleges. I advise ALL high school players to join clubs. There are numerous clubs. Orlando Gold, Florida Sons, OBV and Longwood. Find a club and join.

APK has around 40 try out. We are expecting more this year!!
