Central Florida is a mess. So much parity among the teams will make it interesting.
Bishop Moore is the favored in Region 1 based on experience and tradition. They are a well coached team that has been there before.
That is not to say that it is a done deal. If they (BM) went 5 games with Apopka, without any special circumstances, injuries, missing players, etc..., then it is up for grabs. If you take Apopka as measurement, a team that is very athletic but hot & cold, then you could see Winter Springs, Lake Mary, or Apopka win the region. Apopka could be scary if they get their passing down. Winter Springs finds a way to win even if they already lost to BM. But District 1 is a mess. You could even have Seminole or Oviedo winning the district if the moon and stars align correctly. WS and LM are clearly the favorites but there is plenty of parity to go around.
District 3= Lyman District 4= TC or Olympia. Can't wait to see this district match. Have not seen either play this year, but both are excellent teams but they will need to show their strength later in the year Bishop Moore and Jungle Queen tourneys.

Jupiter and Spanish River are essentially locks. Regions 2 and 8 are just ridiculous right now. Pace isnt strong enough to make it to states yet but they will be VERY good in a year or 2. Thats just what i think

region 7 is gonna be a good district final. We lost to Columbus in 4 our 1st game of the season, but it was close. They beat Miami High in 5 and we lost to Miami High in 5, so districts is up for grabs, who wants it more. I want to go to states again b4 i graduate, its the funnest expirience ever.

In region 5 it is a coin toss between Cardinal Gibbons and St Thomas, although Cardinal Gibbons has beaten St. Thomas before they are a very good team and if Caridnal Gibbons becomes over confident and takes them likely there maybe an upset.

I agree, Killian is a very strong team and yes, their best middle didn't get to play that game, only for one set. Palmetto made their errors, but either way that region is up for grabs. Whoever wants it more will take that game. Killian and Palmetto are both great teams and I'm sure they have each others back no matter who goes on to the next round. Although they both want it badly, they're both great friends. It should be a great match to watch.

Don't count out Douglas in Region 4. Let's see how they do in this weekends tournament. They will be playing Jupiter on Saturday morning. That will be a great match.
