I see a Berkeley Archbishop final. Pool C should be between Park Vista and DP (though DP lost setter and 90% offense) and in Pool D we can finally settle the whole WP CC debate. Last year WP was certainly the better team but I think its gonna be a different story this year. Also notice less teams this year

Too bad the tournaments are smaller this year. Lake Mary, Spanish River and some others added a lot to the field last year. Might be that this tournament is too early in the season.
Berkeley will win it all. They are coming for BM right from the get go.
Archbishop will win their pool. DP will have their hands full with Park Vista and the WP vs. CC match should be worth the price of admission.
Toughest pool will be Pool D. (WP, CC, OV) Reason: Depth and strength of WP and CC. Either one could be in the finals of this tournament. Don't know about OV this year.
Weakest pool will be Pool C. (DP, PV, BO) Reason: Arguably the weakest #1 Seed and a decent #2 seed.
Pool B seems weak as well but they have the top #1 seed and a strong #3 seed. Don't know about TC this year.
Upsets. Lyman could surprise everyone and even take that pool, they have been playing as a team during the club season which makes a big difference early in the high school season. Lake Howell will beat Timber Creek.
As for the rest Apopka, Timber Creek, Boone and Oviedo will be a mystery.
Classic division is a little odd.
Winter Springs should easily win the classic division (I think they won it last year as well). The truth is that team should have been in the Premier Division instead of some of the others. OCP is a #1 seed? I thought Hagerty did real well last year in this tournament. Lake Brantley and Olympia should both win their pools and would have added depth to the Premier division. East River graduated their best player in the middle. I understand why some teams decide to go into the classic division but for some of the others, I am not sure if their is an advantage to winning a weaker tournament as opposed to playing the tougher competition in the Premier tournament.
Upsets? Not sure I know them well enough. I think Hagerty wins their pool.

I definitely think Berkely will win it all. Also I think pool A, C, and D are actually going to be toss ups. Pool A could be Archbishop or Lyman, Pool C could be DP or Park Vista, and Pool D could be CC or WP. It's really disappointing that there are less teams, especially missing major teams like Spanish River and Lake Mary. Last year I think everybody looked at the tournament of a prediction of who would make it far in the State Tournament, but I think it has become a lot less significant.

So with the tournament coming up tomorrow what are the predictions? Who wins each pool?
Looks like it should be all the Number 1 seeds but any upset predictions?
CC vs WP debate should finally be answered along with who the teams to beat in that district and region this year.

Gold: Berkeley, Archbishop, WP, and shocker Boone.
Silver: Lyman, Lake Howell, Park Vista, Oviedo
Bronze: Apopka, TC, DP(WOW), and CC(WOW AGAIN)
I like Berkeley or WP to win gold.
Lyman or PV to win silver.
And CC will take bronze.
Really shocked by how things played out today.

Gold bracket with TB, WP and Archbishop was to be expected but Bone... Really?!? Did DP or PV have bad games or are thay legit this year? Boon isn't that good, they had an relatively easy pool and crossover match, they played DP, who we found out this weekend really isn't good at all, Park Vista isn't very strong, and then they had Oviedo, and i'm surprised they won that game, i think they are better then most people thought but they were crushed once they got into gold by Berkley and then WP.

BP: Kyle played good as always, Nick set well, and Justin pitched in alot. WP: James played solid, as did their other outside and libero. Coulda done better. AMCS: Solid outsides, and huge middle hitter. Boone: Matt thats just gold though
