Pool assignments should be out this afternoon. SHould be a very competitive tournament and show where everyone is at the mid-point of the season!!

What will the semis look like?
Is it A vs B and C vs D
or A vs C and B vs D
or A vs D and B vs C
This should be the best tournament of the year with some of the top teams in the state competing
I hope to see a Bishop Moore vs River and Columbus vs McCarthy semis
Final will most likely be BM vs McCarthy/Columbus

Okay so here is the breakdown:
1st place: Columbus
2nd place: Spanish River (forfeit)
3rd place: Bishop Moore
4th place: Archbishop McCarthy
I don't think there were and specific MVPs but each team had their own.
Columbus- JP, and Victor
Spanish River- Brad and Maher
Bishop Moore- Christian and Jordan
Archbishop McCarthy- Corey and Andrew
Spanish River had to forfeit because they have their prom tonight. Would've like to see that game play out more than one set since it was so close. Bishop Moore destroyed McCarthy, horrible pin blocking which led to bad deffense, overall they need more standout players.

first, pretty good games to watch in many matches. second, nobody HAS to go to prom, river chose that, rather than competing. third, tourney really showed how bad miami refs are, except maybe for last games of the day...really tough to play in that county with those type of refs. was bad all the way around, so didn't favor anyone. we'll see plenty of those teams at state.
