Hey Guys, sorry been absent most of this season...so maybe it is time for me to interject...
I cried when Ole Yeller died in the movies....I cried when Ulysses dog died when Ulysses returned home after 20 years...so I can understand crying...
I am rooting for Lyman and Bishop Moore...I always root for the central Florida teams...
And I guess with all the chatter going on here...I guess winning or losing in the state play offs does mean something...always thought it did...when did any of these guys ever cry when losing a club match anywhere?
This is the best time of the year guys have fun
Dave

I'm from South Florida and am rooting for Lyman. Terrific kids and an outstanding coach who does it for the love of the game and the players. Russ has done more positive things for Florida volleyball than any other coach I know. He developed these players and nurtured their love of the game. Hats off to Russ and good luck to Lyman.

So Lyman, a team with no seniors won states. Is there anyone in florida that looks like they'll have a strong enough team to take it away from them next year? Because if nobody could beat them now, what's going to happen next season when they've all improved?

it doen't matter , we all know who is gonna win the title. I don't think any team in florida will have the caliber to beat Lyman.

Part of what makes them good is Russell. Lake Mary had more talent this year but got out coached by a mile. Not sure who they lose besides Caz. What about Oviedo?
