jhen is right our 16s team was out of sync we didnt get enough practice in to prepare us for regionals.. we only practiced 1 time a week for 2 hours then our other outside hitter hurt his shoulder didnt make is to regionals.. we just had alot of problems.. not taking anything away from orlando gold there a good team but you guys have been together for 2 years and it shows you guys know how to play with eachother and always have a strong team.. but if you give us our original starting line up from virginia and ur starting line up its ganna be a good match.. that were ganna get spanked in jo's is bs cuz hopefully we will have our lineup back we know were not ganna be the best team there but we will do fine.. Goodluck in JO's well go see you guys play and hope you guys place good.

golds 16s line up was f**ked to so shut up. their setter couldnt set a true 5-1 yet, and he hasnt practice so the team wasnt used to him again and their libero had to set and hit and they were missing their tall right side. so shut up sons d**n

Look all the trash going on between Gold16 and Sons-16. Com'on you guys--both teams are very good. Every team has a bad game / day. Remember the Gold-16 black lost to Sons-15 during the Regionals. Do you hear the Sons-15 talking so much trash about that? They are proud, but the s**t doesn't go on and on and on . Take a lesson from the younger kids and both shut up--look forward to JO's

I coach the Orlando Gold 16 Black team. This whole bashing each other back and forth is ridiculous. The Sons team is a great team that had their own misfortunes this weekend. As for my team, we have had our problems as well. When it all comes down to it, you need to be able to play through anything and any circumstances. Our team had a very tough East Coast tourney and the Sons had key players out this weekend at Regionals. PLEASE remember that when we are in Utah we are all on the same team, TEAM FLORIDA!!! We need to be able to support each other more instead of bashing the hell out of each other. Congratulations to the Sons outside hitter that made the HP team and to Quaid the setter for Orlando Gold that made first alternate for setting. I wish nothing but the best of luck to the Sons 16 as well as to the entire Sons club in Utah. Let all the Central Florida and South Florida crap be until next high school season.
Good Luck Coach Tom Orlando Gold 16 Black

Unfortunately the Sons15s are not going to Utah due to commitments of a lot of the players. We wish all the Sons and Gold teams good luck and show everyone that Florida will soon be a state to reckon with in the sport of volleyball ;D

congrats to the florida sons 15s, 17s, and 18s. There is no excuses for the way it ended up, who ever was on and played their best won 1st place. Everyone played really good and i gotta give it to the Orlando Gold for trying their best. JO's is next and we all (florida teams) gotta stay together and try to bring something bak here to our state. we gotta help each other out and give support to do good. so to all the teams out there going to JO's good luck and have fun.

Hey, this is the coach of the 17 D Sons team checking in. First of all, we did not lose to GOld 17's because of referees calls. We had a 24-21 lead in game two and did not side out. Secondly, their coach late in a tight third game gives us a point back because he knew a call should have gone our way- total class act!! So the Gold won fair and square- and for my money it was a really exciting, really well played match. I don't know why so many people talk so much trash on this site, because the better each area gets, the better prepared we will be for JO's- and can start earning respect at national tournaments. I know that many of the best players on each Gold and Sons have a ton of respect for each other- they just don't post on this site...So congrats to all in the tournament, and best of luck in JO's. This Sons coach will be rooting for Gold evey match they play- until it is against us!!

You guys played great throughout the year and I was very impressed every time I saw your team. It appears not only were you teammates BUT good friends as well. I hope your team stays together for next year. It should be great. What schools do you guys play for?

then what happened when golds 18's played sons 17's? I think golds 17's and sons 17's this year will be as big as a rilvary as golds 18's and sons 18's last year. Everytime they played each other it was always a great match. both teams have the chance to play and do well in open next year if they stick together. I think all the Sons and Gold teams are pretty good rivals. It will be great at Regional Sons15 vs Gold15 Sons 16 vs Gold 16 Sons 17 vs Gold 17 Naw. Sons 16s cant really compare to Golds 16s at all this year. sorry. If you watched that match at regionals you would understand what I mean.
