hahaha im sorry but no one contributed close to what angel did. your other outside is 5'6. you guys wont do anything in open if you try and go if you dont set angel. and when he is back row they will just set their rightside all over that little kid.

im pretty sure that the little kid you are referring to, jr, is going to be playing libero because that is what he is better at. and travis is there right side or outside and same with mo. angel is not the only kid that can hit a ball in the court to score. just because he bounces balls in warms and in games does not mean he gets a kill everytime.

Wow, who ever is haha --you obviously did not see the sons 17L team playing at JO's. Because the little kid you are talking about was pretty much dominating hitting outside, he had 6'3" guys that could not block him so get the story straight!! And Angel did not get all the sets-mike ran the middle and right side a lot and those players put the ball down also.

by the way... that little 5'6" kid made the all-tournament team. I know it was club, not open, but he can obviously more than hold his own as an outside hitter. He will get himself to college as a Libero, but he may be the smartest outside I have seen in a long time.

ya he is not the smartest hitter close. you must be a blind man. and jordan made all tournament team as an outside. just cause they did well and he was best overall player. and you guys think he is such a good libero. well lets see, Danny G played over him on HP i heard like every match, and jordan is libero over danny G. which makes it show he is not the best

Whay are you talking about JR. was the starting libero and played every single game whenever the starters were in Jr. was libero danny only touched the court if they were winning by alot

there a a million better outsides then jr. he only got it cuz the team finished high and they needed more kids from the team to make all tourny. i mean marshal and caleb for example are 500 time better outsides. and i kno that there were other outsides from teams that were better

YOU GUYS ARE REALLY NOT TO SMART WHEN IT COMES TO DISCUSSING PLAYERS!!THE ALL AROUND TEAM IS SELECTED BY SEVERAL COACHES AND STAFF FROM JUNIOR OLYMPICS-THEY WALK AROUND AND WATCH PRETTY MUCH EVERY GOOD TEAM AND SEE WHO ARE THE BEST PLAYERS FOR THOSE EVENTS. AND JR OBVIOUSLY DID EXTREMELY WELL AT JO'S. IF YOU ARE GOING TO MENTION OTHER PLAYERS BETTER THAN HIM, WELL HOW COME THEY DID NOT GET RECOGNIZE, I MEAN IF THEY ARE THAT GOOD THEY SHOULD HAVE SOME IMPACT ON THEIR TEAM TO MAKE IT FAR!!AND LIKE SOME ONE SAID ALREADY, JR DOMINATED HITTING AGAINST SOME TALENTED PLAYERS THAT WERE TALLER THAN HIM AND HIT THE BALL HARDER THAN HIM--BUT JR IS A VERY SMART PLAYER. AS FAR AS LIBERO--CHECK WITH THE COACH HOW MUCH HE PLAYED AT THOSE GAME

your wrong. its like top 5 teams gets player and the higher you finish then the more players you get. i mean for 18s balboa bays 18 2s got 3rd and their libero made all tournament but there 1s team which won it all their libero didnt make it cuz a bunch of hitters made it. so you sayin the 2s libero is better then the 1s?

Look, I played for the 18's team for the Florida Sons for two years, when I was 17 and 18. And I know being short myself, that when credit is deserved it should be given. Jr, he is an outstanding player for his age. He is a year younger than all these kids and still competing. He may not be as strong as a hitter as Angel but he gets the job just as good. He does need to impress anyone by bouncing a ball or hitting it at 80 MPH. He is very smart on the court. And as a libero, he plays great defense he has speed and reads hitters really well. But just like almost every young player he is needing a little more experience and a little more discipline and he will be solid.

to clear this up, matt brock is a way better hitter than setter, with a good jump, he'll hit. setting wont be a problem, dont know who put that. The Masked Man bailed on the now 16's last year at nationals, so hes not coming back. itll come down to how good the passing is. good passing= easy setting= better hitting just to clear this up...he had summer school the monday and would have failed a class...he would probably come back to gold if they would let him but talk went to him he cant come back

At least you got that part right... No one wants you playing for gold. the team will be alot better without you on it. Especially with Christian and Will playing. good luck in high school season.

come on, ive played with him before, and even though he has a bad rep, its mostly because of that one string back in the day about whos the best freshman. i personally think he should hit and not set. anyway, theres no point in bashing someone into the ground over this. a mistake was made, and now they learn from it
