All right guys this is Matt's dad. As far as this situation goes it was 100% my fault. I was the issue. I will not go into the background of the problem but it was all me. Yes I absolutely was wrong going on the court, yelling at Matt and making a jerk of myself. Please do not hold my issues against Matt. As a high school sophomore he is a decent player and my concern in all of this is that I have caused a problem that will stop him from doing what he (and all of you enjoy) and that's playing volleyball.
I questioned writing this as I figured people would give Matt grief for his dad stepping in the middle but I am taking that risk. Matt has tried to cover for me and for that he should be commended not ridiculed.
All I would ask is that you put that instance behind us, attribute the problem to me, and give the kid a chance.
Lastly please dont flame back or attack him as there has been enough of that and enough damage done by me.

yeah i agree with come on. u cant deny that he did good and helped the og 15's now i played with him too. he's a good player

Leave Berryhill alone. I play for the Sons and I really dont know him or his dad, but what I do know is what you Gold guys are doing to him is so unprofessional. No class at all trashing someone on this sight. Concentrate on your game not destroying someone else. Mr. Berryhill, I do not know you- only sat near you at the last Orlando Tournament. You do show class by your comment.

At least you got that part right... No one wants you playing for gold. the team will be alot better without you on it. Especially with Christian and Will playing. good luck in high school season. You gold guys gotta get over yourselves. You have no right trashing anyone out. I know this crud isn't coming from the 17and 18 1's teams, it's all you junior team guys. So just shut it and put all that effort into improving your game, not running your mouth. I'm glad to see other clubs coming up so you aren't the only game in town. Is Lake Mary still trying to form a club team? We need to step up the competition in this area. |

I just want to clear up something. Matt is more than welcome to try out for Gold. He is a good player and no matter what happened in the past he still is a good player. His dad came on here and cleared up a lot of stuff, which I think shows a lot of character. Matt may have made some bad choices or comments, but I would like to know of any teen that hasn't. So to wrap this up, Matt if you feel like you would like to try out, please do. On a side note, when will this site become a positive place to go?

Thanks for stepping in Tom. Matt has never been banned from playing Orlando Gold. I think people may be getting him confused with someone else. His dad is an intese guy, but he means well and has really taken an interest to the game. Good luck Lake Mary. Good seeing you boys out there this weekend. Always fun!

Come on now there are many postive things about this site. I guess the most recent one is that the Masked Man can play for Gold. That is a positive. The Lyman league posts its schedule on this site. That is a positive. The Lyman league is able to do some customer service getting the teams together that want to play each other. That is a postive. And I guess we also know who all the good players are in the state with complete scouting reports from the Players. That is a positive. Now if Coach Ladewski could learn to play Fantasy Football, get a better haircut, and program a computer. This site would be extremely positive. The Administration of GOOD NEWS.
