Why aren't there any clubs in the Dade area? There has been talk of starting a club under the girl's Miami Elite name, but that seems to get even more unlikely every day. The closest club is FL Sons, but that is a good 45 min-hour drive.

OBV is coming down into Miami? Is this just for boys? Pretty sad that a northern based club has to come down to straighten things out for Miami Boys volleyball. There's about 10 people out there that could start a succesful club out of Miami and instead a club from the North has to do it. Great.

Actually the Sons do have their tournament prices posted! You obviously did not look at the site. They have a two day tournament cost, three day tournament cost--for in state and out of states. So look at the site before making any decisions. And just come see the teams and coaches-you could see if for yourself

Not a math wizard, but is it $1000 to play sons now and $100 a month for OBV? How many more months are left for boys club, two? And a 1 day in state tournament for sons is $150 but AAU nationals for OBV is $160? Am I reading this wrong?

you are not looking at the "big picture" it's 1000 to play son's season which includes both winter and summer. This doesn't reflect what it would be to just play summer. I can't do the math on Son's summer cost because they don't give you those. To play OBV it's about 1100 or 1200 to play 2 1/2 months. That's about the same as gold except gold is traveling to east coast in richmond instead of playing a real small may fest in orlando. Longwood is about 750 for the summer and they are playing the same as obv I think. ( 3 fl tourneys and atl )
if someone from son's is reading this and you know what the real summer cost is including the tourney's let us know.
