Well since you know so much about the AD at Coral Reef... She told the coaches from Westminster on their way out of the gym' "That was his best hit of the night". All these people "think" they know the whole story and claim he did it on purpose. He did apologize to her and she didn't like the way he said it. So it is her word against his. It will be an event that many will never forget in their lives.

That comment was prob "Sarcasm" Well I guess someone should get the video and we can all judge for our selves, but the kid knew what he was doing..maybe the apology wasn't good enough, if the kid hit me in the face and apologized like that I would have made his face worse then mine and then apologize the same way he did and see how he feels..put your self in that refs shoes, refs can suck but when you as a player cross that line then I have no respect for you, its called being immature and maybe he should go to anger management....

Its just like telling someone to go under the net and purposely hurt another player then saying "Oh it was an accident, I am sorry is he okay" then smurk about it later...

Oh no call Whine-1-1, He got expelled for his actions(Hes at Fault), the school is covering there ass which rightfully should be, I am sure A-rod can get them the best lawyer money can buy, now do I think the Coaches should be fired no its not there "Inconsistent swing"...But the kid knew what he was doing, take your approach and hit the ref you have to intentionally go out of your way, this video I guess we have to wait to see it, of course everyone that knows the kid is going to defend him especially his teammates and coaches, apparently the school didn't there must be a reason they didn't if they saw any evidence that it was not done on purpose maybe the most would have happened is expelled from the team not the school, but upon further review he was found to have intentionally done it because he could control that big hard swing of his

they are by the book and almost angelic which is why the AD said to the WCS coaches and I quote "that was probably his best hit of the day!" And did you say almost impossible, I agree!

just seems to me that this "accident" happened at a very curious point and time. right after a "bad call" when everyone on the Westminster side goes off on the ref. the very next play he "accidentally" hits her square in the nose. then he has the opportunity to give a heart felt apology and the only word he says is sorry after he breaks her nose and gives her two black eyes. i think if it was by accident he woulda felt really bad and let the ref know how bad he felt. doesnt sound to me like he was attempting to tool the block. seems to me like he meant to do it. and apparently there is video proof how obvious he made it look. youre incredibly misinformed : he went to apologize to the referee and she was on the phone furios and said she refused to speak to him and walked away. its ridiculous that you would even assume you know what happened. and there is no charge yet so that shows how "deliberate" it is that its all pending and every attorney says that this case is ridiculous regardless the "deliberate evidence"

Sounds like you have an obvious agenda against the kid. If I was watching a random game that I was not involved in I would absolutely laugh my butt off if I saw a ref get hit in the face, whether accidental or not, especially when the ref is as awful and unreasonable as this one. And to say he "was unapologetic" is completely inaccurate. He tried to apologize to her and she wouldn't hear it, all she did was get down from her podium and started making phone calls without trying to reason or negotiate what happened. It doesn't help her credibility at all when she is notorious for being one of the worst referees in Dade county, which is quite a statement when you consider that there are many awful referees in Dade. She handled this situation much like she referees her games; cluelessly and erratically. And as far as Westminster immediately firing the staff and expelling the student, that is a testament to their poor administration and downhill direction. Westminster has changed dramatically since I left, firing coaches for "being too tough" even though they have made the programs respectable (football). Then they fired their basketball coach after taking the team to Regionals for the first time in years due to the fact that the coach had two other family members coaching different sports at the school. Its all politics and BS now. The fact that they fired a longtime coach and friend of the school, for a PLAYER'S action, which was likely incidental, speaks volumes about the administration's lack of integrity and faith in their staff.

And if you knew anything about this referee or about dade volleyball in general you would know she is awful. You clearly do not understand the situation going on at Westminster and your assessment that "money talks" or a parent complained for the reason he got expelled is way off. The school is in a complete uproar about it, both students and parents are disgusted at the school. The whole student body has his back. The fact that you have to stoop to insulting my abilities just further discredits your opinion and maturity, as if my playing ability had anything to do with what I think about this situation. But I guess thats the beauty of anonymity huh? The difference is that by showing who I am, I have the balls to backup what I say and take heat for my opinions, whereas you just hide behind your keyboard anonymously able to say whatever you want.

All this Drama over a stupid thread, lets play Coors Light Six Pack facts like on espn, 1. Hes expelled get over it, hes not coming back...Did the ball come off his hand? Yes it did, boom hand in the cookie Jar... 2. Should the coaches have been fired? No, they should have not been fired we all know that, I totally disagree with the coaching staff.. 3. Should we laugh at the Ref? No we shouldn't regardless of the fact he made a bad choice in his life, in no way should she be made fun of I am sure anyone would overreact if you broke there glasses, busted her nose, 2 black eyes later..of course shes gonna overreact!! 4. Dude your a little disrespectful prick for your comment (Pancakes) you don't say that you would laugh, but you have no respect for the game..shes an adult figure most refs are not great big deal but player should keep his cool in that situation and you wash your soap with mouth... 5. as for as the apology goes...really you think shes gonna take an apology after what happened to her, maybe an apology note or something..but her some flowers make it all better, if it was an accident then why did the school act so "Fast" 6. We are going by the video, and they had 2 camera views so basically upon further reiview he is Guilty, Chopped and Screwed aka expelled, now the Coaches should not be fired I totally disagree with that, the coaching staff played no part in that, even if they did there not the person who hit the ball...I know from hear say that Head Coach is a good guy and doesn't teach that so I will defend your coach or your old coach since u graduated, but your OH he did what he did... What we learned is.....EXPELLED!!

Once again my comments about the referee have nothing to do with disrespect or "running my mouth", but rather an assessment of her credibility based on her past performances as a referee, which are not so good.
No final verdict has been decided yet either, and as a result from all the backlash from parents and students, the player has been "suspended indefinitely", rather than flat out expelled, until it has been proven.
