Well now BM has two christians, gonna be very tough to beat them now... Recruiting? They are actually under investigation. I don't know if they've made a decision yet, but the athletic director was suspended until they come to a conclusion The decision has been made that is why i made the comment....he is able to play....

I heard that Christian M. was suspended, and then was recently cleared to play, i think its absolutely ridiculous that he is allowed to play because he clearly is only attending BM for volleyball, he has a direct connection to the head coach, and this could actually have a really big effect on this high school season because BM probably has the best outside core in the state now

With the two Christians and their setter BM will win the State Championship. It would be like in 05 when Gibbons won it with Mark and Brett and they didn't even have as good a setter.

No he didn't take a year off, that's why this is so ridiculous, he clearly played for a club who's director is the BM coach, so why should he be able to play his first year here, and with the two outsides and the setter they'll make a really good run at the state title

There really is a debate if private schools should even be awarded a state title. (BM a few years ago) Who is the best player for BM? Chistian. Where does he live? From what I have been told its in Oviedo. (not sure if this is correct but for this argument it works) Shouldn't he be playing for Oviedo? If he wants to go to BM for academic reasons, go. But the athletic department should be playing by the same rules as everyone else. Could Oviedo take a kid from around BM? Yes, for academic reasons like a magnet program but would the kid be allowed to play. No. Private Schools should be given a zone just like public schools to get their players from!! If it's fair for private, then it should be ok for public. untill the same rules apply to everyone there should be an asterick by State Champion for Private schools.

Dont understand this sit out a year rule. So if a kid gets recruted to play at a school they can sit out a year and that makes it ok? isnt that still recruiting.

We can't argue what is and isn't fair because rules are already made and in the books. Period. So, if they are abiding by the rules or are given the green light by the FHSAA and are cleared to play, then we gotta suck it up and play. Get better and compete. There are so many more public schools than high schools in the FHSAA...so, if the public schools really hated it that much, then they would have already changed the rule because it is the schools who vote on those things, not the FHSAA office. There is a law up for vote to make things different in high school athetics in FL between private/public, etc...but it will never pass because if you separate them, it would cost way too much money for redistircting and public schools wouldn't wanna spend that much money on transportation for longer distances. This type of arguement always comes up, just like in college and pro sports...fair vs. unfair. It's like people asking, how can a small DI school like FGCU that has a $20 million dollar athletic budget compete against U of Michigan that has over a $150 million dollar budget for all its teams? Or why can Yankees spend 6 times more money than small market teams like the KC Royals? These are rules that have been made and gotta live by them until new rules are made. It is so much more difficult to figure out on the business side of...it's like we gotta throw out the ethical side...sad, but true.

TJ (their best player) transferred to AMHS in his senior year to play volleyball and win a state title. He transferred from Cypress Bay. BM is only doing what AMHS did last year and got away with it..

I just don't understand how the FHSAA lets them get away with this, its clearly a violation from what I understand the rules to be, and i we would just have to suck it up if he sat out a year then played because that is the rule, but why is that rule not being enforced...?

Chirstian M. completely relocated to orlando from melbourne and they went from private school to private school. his sister plays for an AsicsGirl's R USteam and they are at111 everyday. it didnt make sense for them to make that drive everyday so they moved closer. i understand how it does look like recruiting, but the coaching staff had nothing to do with the relocation
