we are all aware that the level of play was down this year, but i feel we still could have seen much better matches. go ahead, say that injuries are a part of the game and all that bullnuts like you gotta play through it. whatever. 16 year old kids are not supposed to get in car accidents and almost die. at full strength, the 2 best teams in the state this year were CG and BM. thats it. the jungle queen final was epic and a rematch could have been even better. nick went off for 30 kills in the district final i believe and there were no signs of him letting up. belt's setting had been probably the best in the state all year. as for bm, i saw their game vs OT without walsh at the end of the year and although they lost they would have been the most dangerous team in the state with all their pieces. how? mikey couldn't be stopped in the middle, got a kill almost everytime. sam was puttin balls down as always, and lahey was crankin balls like i've never seen him do, putting one 10 foot line on the first play of the game. with walsh, game over. with all their pieces in place, these 2 teams were the best in the state, hands down. Can't say anything about CG cause I didn't see them but i saw BM a few times and they didn't impress. Nice they were able to pull off a few wins but they were inconsistent. Bm wasn't even in the top three in central fl. 1. Olympia 2. Lyman 3. TC 4. Lake Mary 5. BM Not bustin, no disrespect meant, just how i saw it.

Yeah I appreciate the props for myself and my team from cg vs bm but i really can't agree because it's a little ridiculous to imply that we were better than teams like Olympia who beat us twice with or without our whole team... Sure it's nice to say we would have been good if we had all of our players in good health, and yes I believe we could've made a good run that way, but it simply wasn't the case and there's no way to change the past.

With the talent that comes thru BM and your great coaching staff you guys will be back. And no one goes into a match with BM thinking it's going to be easy. I know we didn't.

Okay Guys,
As an FSU grad & an ole guy, I take offense to the Bobby Bowden quote. He has had only 1 losing season since being at FSU and that was in 76-77.
He is still the winningest coach all time and beat Boston College last year at BC when there were #2. Almost beat Va Tech. And pull a lot of smoke and mirrors in the Music City Bowl.
Bobby, Mickey & Chuckie still have at least one good season left in them. Then Jimbo can take it for all you young whipper snappers.
FSU baseball on to the SUPER REGIONAL ...eliminated da Gators ...SWEET....

Bobby and JoPa (Penn State) both need to retire before something bad happens on the sidelines. They should not even have driver's liscences at this point much less coach some of the best programs in college football.
;D

oops sorry dave. I have no doubt that bobby and crew have something left in them but being a Gator I have to hate them for thier prior success and those colors. ( kind of like how certain schools here hate each other ) Hey one last thing... how do you know God's a Gator fan???
Cause the sun is Orange and the sky is Blue...
Good luck in the baseball tourney...

Looking at next year and those teams that have a lot returning players that are very good and were starters this year. I believe the level of play will be much better next year. These teams have almost all their players returning and there is great potential: River Cardinal Gib (i believe) Douglas BM What other teams look good next year?

River has a lot of returning players and Douglas only lost 1 player. Both teams have a majority of their players playing on the Fla Sons and they will be very good next year. I believe CG has a lot of good returning players also. I do not know much about BM. It is my understanding that Southwest, Palmetto, STA and Olympia is losing key players. Am I right?

tc and bm i say top 2 in cfl. bm will be a powerhouse next year with wat they return, their coaching staff and they transfers. and tc has the same team plus talk about the rican bringing his setter from torrimar. but its not for sure so dont hold me on that. OT will be pretty strong still with ian and travis, but i think teams can focus on blocking ian and not having to worry about the other guys puttin the ball away with a single block. but ian is a hard working kid so im sure they will work it out. and they had a strong jv so those guys will have to step it up. and apopka will be strong, i kno some of u guys dont think so
